bye bye Poppy!

I am a firm believer that when people pass on... they typically say good bye to loved ones. I experienced this first hand with my father when I was a child. I won't go in to that story but I will tell you that I saw him in the grocery store and he winked at me... turned around and walked out to his car and left.

I was leaving the grocery store on Wednesday and a B25 Airplane was circling the HEB. Now you tell me why an antique WW II airplane would be circling a grocery store :-) The B25 plane was the first plane Poppy flew and at his burial one did a fly by and circled the burial site several times.

I know that Poppy was flying that plane and was saying goodbye to me.

love,

Ted

Weddings, Winter, Kids, Blessings

The wedding went off without a hitch and very very fun! Terri, Corley, Valerie and others worked hard to make it all happen. Big Thanks to my good friend Todd who came down early from Tennessee to help us get ready! Really couldn't have done it without him.

We are looking at a little lake house and our offer has been accepted; we ran in to a few snags but nothing too terrible. I think Todd put it best when he said that little house has been there a long time and will prolly be there another 50 years without too much effort.

I am really excited about this, with a little bit of anxiety around the cost :-)

Sara is doing so well - her last semester of college is coming up and she is just growing up every time I turn around.

I got a letter back from Everett; he was moved to Huntsville where I am much more likely to visit him -- I hope he is doing well.

Hep C treatment continues to be effective...

peace :-)

Ted
