I always tell myself I am going to keep this up to date better after this post... and I don't :-( Oh well... below is my 6 month update
I have been having dinner occasionally with a couple of old friends and find it very rewarding and relaxing. All in all through life I think relationships are probably the most valuable thing we have.
I have yet another job! I have been in my latest for only 6 months but we have achieved the primary objective of turning things around; resolving issues and correcting customer satisfaction. I have been working with another group of extremely talented people which I find to be a real blessing.
I am literally 'going home' in my new job... the same building I started in over 20 years ago. It is quite refreshing and I am looking forward to the challenges. The really cool thing is that it is a promotion that includes a raise and an increase in annual bonus! More money is always helpful.
We have been going out to the Hoot Owl Lodge fairly regularly. It is a great source of distraction from the hustle and bustle of life during the week. The kids are going to join us for a weekend out there in early August, which I am really looking forward to.
Oh yeah... health :-)
I have confirmed that after 1 year I am still Hep C free! I didn't really expect that the way life has been going the last several years. I am also cancer free and my heart issues seem to be manageable... however my herniated disk is really giving me a lot of pain. I will get through it though...
We are going on vacation Monday; we are going to St. Lucia which is kind of a bucket list thing for me :-)

Hej!
I changed jobs - no more international travel and very little travel at all! I am really enjoying the change. I work with all the people that grew up in this industry with me as well as others of course.
Sara got married to Philip, it was a very nice wedding. I am doing pretty well... I have to start running again soon and my hip is killin' me!
until next time :-)
